Temperatures into the 90s along with possible thunderstorms are forecast into the Fourth of July weekend in the Billings area.
The high on Thursday will be about 92 degrees with mostly sunny skies, the National Weather Service said. Winds will be light and variable in the afternoon. The low will be about 63 degrees with a 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms.
Independence Day will be mostly sunny with a high of 94 degrees and a 20 percent chance of thunderstorms after noon. Westerly winds will be up to about 13 mph. The low will be about 63 degrees with the chance for thunderstorms continuing.
The highs for Saturday and Sunday are expected to be in the 90s while the lows will be in the low 60s. There is a slight chance for thunderstorms after noon on Saturday.
