If you go

A public walk-in clinic will be held Monday at the Shrine Auditorium to administer the H1N1 influenza vaccine. The clinic begins at 1 p.m. and will last until 7 p.m. or until the vaccine supply is exhausted. Only people in priority groups will be vaccinated, in-cluding: • Pregnant women. • Caregivers of, or people who live with, babies younger than 6 months old. • Emergency and medical personnel. • Healthy children 6 months to 24 years old. • People age 25 to 64 who have chronic medical condi-tions. To make the clinic efficient, health officials are asking people to: • Wear loose clothing to make injections easier. • Bring a signed permission slip from a child’s parent or guardian if someone else is bringing the child to the clinic. • Be prepared to tell medical personnel what kind of vaccines you or your child has had in the past 28 days. If you’ve had a live vaccine in the that time, you cannot receive the H1N1 flu mist. Live vaccines can include the seasonal flu shot, the chicken pox vaccine and the MMR vac-cine. • Do not bring immunization records, a birth certificate, medical records or a physician note.
