The Big Sky Little League All-Stars will be recognized during a celebration Saturday that includes a motorcade and a program at Dehler Park.

Vehicles carrying the players, coaches and other officials will depart from the Billings Chamber of Commerce building, 815 S. 27th, at 5 p.m. Escorted by police, firefighters and sheriff’s officers, the motorcade will arrive at Dehler Park around 5:30 p.m.

The program will be emceed by Mayor Tom Hanel and his wife, Robin. Gov. Brian Schweitzer will attend the ceremonies, which will include the Little League oath, the national anthem and fireworks.

A video will highlight the team’s success at the Little League World Series in Williamsport, Pa.

Team members will be introduced and make themselves available for autographs for a short time.

Refreshments will be available. Donations will benefit Big Sky Little League.

The celebration will be broadcast live by KULR-8 and KTVQ and on billingsgazette.com.
