Students and staff and faculty members of MSU Billings will be collecting nonperishable food on Halloween for distribution to the High School Food Pantry through the Salvation Army.

Those who want to take part will meet in the Student Union Building atrium at 4:15 p.m. on Oct. 31.

Participants will walk the neighborhoods around MSU Billings from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m., collecting nonperishable items.

Led by the Student United Way at MSU Billings and the university’s Office of Community Involvement, the food drive will help other young people in need in the Billings area.

Student groups who want to show their MSU Billings pride can dress up in their best Yellowjackets apparel for a chance to win the Spirit Award.

After the food collections are made, students will gather for the MSU Billings-Rocky Mountain College men’s basketball game at RMC.

For more information, contact the Office for Community Involvement at 896-5815 or stop by SUB 225.
