Female volunteers from People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals disrobed and showered underneath Skypoint in Billings to raise awareness of the amount of water used in the production of ground beef.

PETA campaign coordinator Tracy Patton said the amount of water required to make a pound of ground beef is the equivalent of six months' worth of showers.

Patton encourages people who are concerned about their water usage to switch to a vegetarian diet.
