The Family Tree Center will conduct its winter series of Nurturing Parenting Classes to parents of grade school-age children. Classes will meet from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Thursdays beginning Feb. 22.
Weekly classes explore topics such as morals and values, empathy, rewards and consequences, discipline, decision making, family rules, brain development and more. Parent-child interaction time is included in each class. The center recommends all family members attend for the greatest success.
The series costs $100 per individual or $150 per couple. The fee includes books and materials, as well as child care with dinner provided for the children.
