A number of area businesses and organizations are offering services free to veterans on Wednesday.

National parks: Veterans Day and has been designated an entrance fee free day at all National Park Service sites that charge an entrance fee. Wednesday's fee-free day is valid at places like Bighorn Canyon NRA, Custer Battlefield and Yellowstone National Park.

Free haircuts: Great clips offers free haircuts for veterans with proof of service. 

Help a Hero: Sport Clips Haircuts is taking donations and will donate $1 from every haircut service to the VFW-administered scholarship program for service members and veterans.

ZooMontana: Veterans and active-duty military and four friends or family members can get into the zoo Nov. 9-14 for just $5.

Free bus rides: Jefferson Lines offers free travel to veterans from Nov. 8-15. Veterans must purchase tickets in person and show form DD-214 and a valid ID. Tickets are good for travel from Nov. 8-15 for one-way and round-trip. Return trips may be made through Dec. 31. In Billings, Jefferson Lines is located at 1830 Fourth Ave. N. No phone orders will be accepted.

All-you-can-eat pancake dinner: The Boys & Girls Club, 505 Orchard Lane, is holding a pancake dinner from 5 to 7 p.m. Veterans eat free with ID. It's $5 for everyone else. Bring a bag of leaves to receive a $1 discount (limit three). Benefits club's cooking and gardening programs. For information, call 245-2582.

Free meal: Full Belly Burger will be at Canyon Creek Brewing between 4 and 8 p.m. All military, police, firefighters, EMT and any other service men or women will receive free dinner as a small thank you for your incredible service.

Applebee's: Veterans and active-duty military eat free.

Cracker Barrel: Veterans receive a complimentary Double Chocolate Fudge Coca-Cola Cake dessert during lunch and dinner.

Denny's: Denny's invites active, inactive and retired military personnel to stop by for a free Build Your Own Grand Slam from 5 a.m. to noon.

Golden Corral: A free thank you dinner for any person who has served in the U.S. military (retirees, veterans, active duty, National Guard or Reserves).

IHOP: Veterans and active-duty military receive a free stack of red, white and blue pancakes.

Little Caesar's Pizza: A free $5 Hot-n-Ready lunch combo for all U.S. Armed Forces veterans and active military at participating stores nationwide.

Olive Garden: Veterans and active duty military will receive enjoy a free entrée from this list. Family members dining with them get 10 percent off of their meals.

Outback: Deployed military can get a rain check for a free Bloomin' Onion when they return if they fill out this form.

Red Lobster: A free appetizer or dessert, Nov. 9-12, for guests with a valid military ID or proof of service. Includes veterans, active-duty and actively serving military and reservists.

Red Robin: All veterans and active-duty service members receive a free Red's Tavern Double burger with fries.
