One of the brothers of Richard Ramirez, the man shot to death by police Monday night, has been captured.

He was wanted on a felony contempt of court warrant for robbery.

According to Billings Police Department Lt. Kevin Iffland, Jason Lee Ramirez was booked into the Yellowstone County Detention Facility at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Chief Deputy U.S. Marshal Rod Ostermiller said on Thursday that members of the Montana Violent Offender Task Force, the Billings Police Department and the Yellowstone County Sheriff's Office found Jason Ramirez in Lockwood on Wednesday evening and, after a struggle, took him into custody.

During the course of the investigation into Jason Ramirez and after his arrest, authorities recovered four stolen motorcycles and a stolen pickup truck, Ostermiller said.

As of 12:30, officials were still determining if Ramirez will be charged in connection with the stolen items.

He is also a suspect in a number of other crimes, Ostermiller said.
