Billings Police are searching for a man who reportedly stole cash from a convenience store on the 1900 block of First Avenue North Saturday evening.
At 5:21 p.m., officers responded to a report that a man had entered the Don's Car Wash Convenience Store, pretended to purchase an item, then grabbed money out of the cash register when the clerk opened it, Police Sgt. Shane Winden said Sunday.
No weapon was used and no one was hurt in the incident, Winden said. The suspect was reportedly last seen running away from the store after grabbing the cash.
Winden declined to say how much money was stolen.
The man was described as wearing a dark baseball cap and a hooded sweatshirt.
