A total of three counterfeit $20 bills have been seen at two businesses in Billings this week, according to a press release from the Billings Police Department. 

On Nov. 28 at 8 p.m., a suspect tried to use two of the counterfeit bills at the Lucky Lil's Casino on South 24th Street West and on Nov. 30, an employee at a McDonald's on 401 Main St. found one counterfeit bill while conducting an audit. 

Of the counterfeit bill found at McDonald's, the press release states, "it was believed to have been passed during business hours the previous day." 

The bills "are clearly marked on the front and back side 'MOTION PICTURE USE ONLY,'" according to the press release and anyone with information is asked to call BPD at 406-657-8200 or Crime Stoppers at 406-245-6660.
