Good progress is being made on the new science building under construction on the Rocky Mountain College campus.
"It's moving along nicely," Keith North, director of campus facilities, said Wednesday. "Once we got out of the wet pattern of snow, we made some really good progress."
Ground broke on the $8.5 million three-story 32,972-square-foot building in April 2016. The new building will sit adjacent to the Bair Science Center.
Concrete has been poured, North said, and steel is "going up fast." The tentative completion date, he said, is January 2018.
