Students present symposium on education on Tuesday

Students in West High's Senior Science Symposium will present "A Symposium on Education: Nurturing our Natures" from 5 to 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday at the MSUB College of Education, room 427.

Nine students in the Senior Science Symposium led by John Miller and Dr. Russell Lord have been meeting at West High at 6:55 a.m. each Monday and Thursday since the the fall semester. 

On Tuesday, each student will give a presentation that "makes a connection between human natures and education," Miller said.

The first four students will present for 10 to 12 minutes each, followed by a panel discussion and a break that includes appetizers.

After the intermission, the final five students will give their presentations, followed by a discussion.

Students participating are: Lexi Eagle, Sarah Jung, Cole Krenik, Bayley Larsen, Josh Lieuallen, Katie Maier, Kevin Mermel, Erica Norris and Colleen Powers.
