Police evacuated Ahead Of The Curve Child

Development Center at 3242 Hesper Road in Billings about 1:45 p.m. Tuesday following a bomb threat.

“Somebody called in to say there was a bomb in the building, so we searched the building and found nothing,” said Billings Police Sgt. Shane Winden.

As many as 100 children and teachers waited across the street for about 30 minutes while police officers conducted the search.

The children were allowed to return after nothing was found, Winden said.

The next step is to figure out who made the threat, he said.

While they waited, teachers sang songs and played games with the children.

Several parents also arrived to pick up their children.
