A winter weather advisory is in effect until midnight Saturday for Yellowstone County and eastern Carbon County, the National Weather Service says.

Snow accumulation of 1 to 4 inches is expected and could cause slippery road conditions. Drivers should also be prepared for reduced visibility.

In Billings on Saturday, look for snow, mainly before 9 a.m., with a high near 29 and a 90 percent chance of precipitation. Winds will be north northeast and 5 to 8 mph. Expect a total daytime snow accumulation of around 2 inches.

Saturday night, there's a 20 percent chance of snow, with mostly cloudy skies, a low around 17 and east northeast winds around 7 mph.

There's a 40 percent chance of snow on Sunday, mainly before noon. Skies will be mostly cloudy, with a high near 28 and east northeast winds around 7 mph. New snow accumulation of less than a half-inch possible.

On Sunday night snow likely, mainly after midnight. Skies will be mostly cloudy, with a low around 16 and northeast winds of 7 to 9 mph. The chance of precipitation is 60 percent, with new snow accumulation of around an inch possible.
