A 48-year-old woman found dead in the doorway of a Billings business on Saturday had been identified as Renee Whistlingelk.
Whistlingelk was found unresponsive early Saturday in front of a business on the 2800 block of First Avenue North, county coroner Cliff Mahoney said.
A police report indicates Whistlingelk was found in the doorway of a glass shop, said Lt. Neil Lawrence of the Billings Police Department.
An autopsy was completed Monday. Mahoney said her death appeared to be alcohol-related, but that he couldn't be sure until the toxicology test results are in.
"I can tell you with all certainty it was not hypothermia," he said.
Detectives with the Billings Police Department determined there was nothing suspicious on scene and that she "had been drinking with other transients throughout the night," according to a release written by Sgt. Harley Cagle.
