A woman walked away from a Billings prerelease center Sunday night and has since been placed on escape status by the Montana Department of Corrections.

Carrie Roundstone, 27, left the Passages Community Corrections Program at about 8 p.m. Sunday, according to an Alternatives Inc. new release.

Roundstone arrived at Passages on Oct. 21. She was sentenced for criminal endangerment out of Yellowstone County.

Roundstone is described as Native American. She stands 5 feet 3 inches tall and weighs about 205 pounds. Her eyes and hair are brown.

The Montana DOC requests anyone with information regarding her location contact law enforcement immediately. Roundstone faces an additional 10-year sentence for felony escape and should not be approached.
