A 30-year-old woman from Missoula died Wednesday afternoon near Bozeman after the car she was driving in was broadsided by a truck, Montana Highway Patrol dispatch said.

The woman was driving her Subaru and preparing to make a left turn at the intersection of the I-90 Frontage Road and East Valley Center Road. A Dodge Ram traveling eastbound crashed into her as she was making the turn.

The woman was pronounced dead at the scene.

Dispatch said the driver of the truck, a 49-year-old man from Belgrade, was taken to Bozeman Deaconess Hospital with only minor injuries.

The call came in at 1:33 p.m., and a trooper responded to the scene at 1:38 p.m., according to the incident log.

It's unclear whether alcohol was a factor.
