(2 PHOTOS ONLY)Billings students, Hannah Brookshire and Jaci Juarez from Senior High and Lauren Krivec from West High, attended a MedStart Camp hosted at Montana State University Billings July 13-18. This week-long program explores healthcare careers. While living in the dorms and being immersed in campus life, the students had the opportunity to job shadow at area healthcare facilities, attend college planning sessions, participate in healthcare simulation activities and explore a wide variety of healthcare opportunities. This year’s camp also included a day of wilderness medicine in Red Lodge and a mock search and rescue exercise in the Beartooth Mountains. Army Pvt. Mary M. Dunkel has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson, Columbia, S.C. She is the daughter of Elizabeth A. Hogenson of Wilsall.

Banderob will graduate from West High in 2015, attend Army basic training at Fort Leonard Wood, Mo., and then attend logistics school at Fort Lee, Va. He has been assigned to the 443rd Signal Company. He plans to attend college.

A 2014 graduate of Montana Youth Challenge, she will attend Army basic training and law enforcement school at Fort Leonard Wood, Mo. Wines has been assigned to Detachment 2, 484th Military Police Company, in Billings. She is employed by McDonald’s and plans to attend the University of Montana.

Hauck is a 2014 graduate and will attend Army basic training at Fort Leonard Wood, Ga., and then will attend military health care training at Fort Sam Houston, Texas. She has been assigned to the 260th Engineer Support Company in Miles City. She is employed by Guadalajara and plans to attend Montana State University.
