In the schools

Del Curfman, of Lockwood, son of David Curfman, has been named to the dean’s list for 2012 fall semester at the Institute of American Indian Arts, with at least a 3.90 GPA.

Holly Heins, of Laurel, daughter of Joe and Cheryl Heins, has been named to the president’s list for fall semester 2012 at the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs.

Morgan Stacey, a senior at the University of San Diego, was on the list for the dean's second honors (GPA 3.40-3.64) for the 2012 fall semester.

Alex Stacey, a second-year student, and Austin Stacey, a first-year student, both at the University of San Diego, earned a place on the dean's first honors list (GPA of 3.65 or higher) for the 2012 fall semester.

In the service

Army National Guard Pfc. Matthew S. Flatlip has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson, Columbia, S.C. He is a 2002 graduate of Plenty Coups High School in Pryor.
