Ups and Downs gives a quick take of news of the week.

Up: Clinic boost. Fifteen community health centers in Montana will see $6.7 million in stimulus grants to upgrade facilities and equipment. RiverStone Health in Billings will receive almost $1 million in federal funds to buy digital X-ray equipment for its dental clinic and expand its capacity to treat patients.

Down: Mystery death. ZooMontana's female Amur tiger, Luna, died Sunday, and officials aren't sure why. The 10-year-old tiger arrived at the zoo in 2006 and was a favorite of zoo visitors. The zoo has sent blood and tissue off for a necropsy to see if a cause of death can be determined.

Up: Almost ready. The new downtown MET bus transfer center was dedicated Wednesday as the $5 million facility gets ready for its formal opening on July 27. Hundreds of bus riders will use the transit center every day as they make their way across the city.
