Siberian sisters. ZooMontana has tigers again! Two 19-month-old females from a Florida animal park arrived last week. ZooMontana Executive Director Jeff Ewelt said the new cats may be on exhibit in early June.

Dent city. Winds of nearly 60 mph, torrential rain and golf-ball sized hail battered areas of Billings and the surrounding region for less than 30 minutes on May 18, but destroyed roofs, siding, crops and dented countless vehicles.

Kitchen cash. Downtown Billings Rotary Club donated $217,000 to Friendship House of Christian Service for a new kitchen that will serve meals to needy children in after-school and summer programs. The club also made donations to the YWCA and Boys and Girls Club.

Flood provisions. Yellowstone County is making sand and sandbags available to county residents who need to prepare for possible flooding as the mountain snow melt is forecast to speed up. During Memorial Day weekend, sandbags may be picked up at the Yellowstone County Sheriff’s Department, phone 256-2929.

Memorial directions. Anyone needing to locate a grave site at cemetery in Yellowstone County should check the search page at http://www.co.yellowstone.mt.gov/cemetery/ygl.asp.
