Student health. The proposed student health center at Orchard Elementary would be a godsend to families in a school where 90 percent of students qualify for free/reduced-price meals. We commend the school district, Billings Clinic and RiverStone Health for collaborating to turn this idea into reality.

Heart Mountain story. “Witness – The Legacy of Heart Mountain,” has been nominated for four Emmy Awards. The documentary film about the northwest Wyoming camp where innocent Japanese-Americans were held during World War II has been screened in Wyoming, Los Angeles, Portland and Washington, D.C., and aired on Los Angeles and San Francisco TV stations.

Millennial connection. The Billings Chamber of Commerce is launching a young professional leadership group for business people ages 21-39. For information on NextGen membership, cal 245-4111 or email
