Rocky Mountain College is deeply committed to instilling in our students their responsibilities as thoughtful stewards of the communities they belong to and the organizations they serve. RMC must also model the same abilities, dispositions, and behaviors expected of its students. An important part of being a good citizen means being accountable and being grateful for what we have. It also means thanking those who have helped us along the way.

RMC has recently achieved important planning and strategic goals, and we want to take this opportunity to express our gratitude to those who have been essential to the realization of these accomplishments. We owe our success to this exceptional community. We are honored and thankful for you allowing us to be a part of this community, and grateful for the opportunity to learn from you.

Rocky Mountain College achieves its mission to educate our future leaders because of the hard work, cooperation, and endless contributions of the members of our college community. We are proud of our talented faculty, staff, and students who make this college successful. However, we would not have achieved our recent goals without the wisdom, advice, guidance, and generosity of this community.

Thank you for supporting Rocky Mountain College, and thank you for allowing us to match our ambition with resources. Your contributions have made it possible for us to provide a home for Billings Central Catholic High School to host Friday Night Lights. You have provided us a safe, innovative learning environment for every student at RMC with a new science facility. You have given us a new piano lab and a new Academic Resource Center.

Your giving means that our students have a more affordable education and allows us to marshal the resources to make graduation a priority. We are grateful for this community. You have opened your doors for our students for internships as well as service learning and experiential learning opportunities. You have allowed us to be at every table and you have consistently shown up to our events.

Thank you for sharing the responsibility, ownership, and commitment to higher education. Thank you for giving these students and this college your selfless time, your leadership, your investment, and your IMPACT. We are so fortunate and blessed to live in such a caring and compassionate community. We are fortunate that there is a deep understanding of and commitment to this work for these students who enter the doors of Rocky Mountain College.

We look forward even more cooperation and even deeper involvement as we share the responsibilities for the growth and stewardship of our community.

Robert Wilmouth, of Billings, is president of Rocky Mountain College.
