Geologist Linda Dismore “Diz” Swift will be a Chancellor’s Distinguished Lecturer, speaking on climate change at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, Nov. 12, at Montana State University-Billings in Room LI 148.
A Great Falls native, Linda Dismore Swift is retired and lives in California. She holds a bachelor’s degree in history and master’s and doctoral degrees in geology from the University of Washington. She recently retired from Chevron, after 23 years with the company and previously worked for NASA. She serves on the advisory board for the College of Technology of Montana State University Billings and as an adviser for earth science for MSU Bozeman.
