The Society of St. Vincent de Paul thanks all who walked or sponsored walkers for our second annual Friends of the Poor Walk on Sept. 26. Your donations brought in $6,874, and it is important to note that 100 percent of this money is being used to assist local families in need through the Billings SVDP Charity Office. This annual walk is national and over $1 million was raised by St. Vincent de Paul Councils in the United States. All of these funds remain with the local councils to be used for families in their areas.
