A lot of criticism is being heard about Officer Morrison's involvement in the death of Richard Ramirez.

The public tends to believe a citizen is innocent until proven guilty, but a police officer seems to be guilty until proven innocent. Let the chief complete his investigation and the police commission have their hearing by due course before we start casting judgment.

It's easy to be an arm chair policeman when one hasn't walked a mile in a policeman's shoes. If the officer was deemed wrong, he will face his judgment.

Chief St. John is a very good police chief. Let him give Morrison "innocent before proven guilty."
