I would like to thank everyone who voted for me in the election for County Commissioner. I was running for office because I felt we needed new leadership with a broader vision.
Our community needs to build an underpass on 27th Street and an overpass on Monad Road. We can pay for it with fuel tax, federal funds and impact fees from the railroad. Forget the bypass, which is segregating our community. We need to build a rail-served, heavy industrial park to attract industries with union jobs paying good wages and benefits.
We need to combine some of the city-county services. Redundancy does not make sense.
Good city/county leadership can accomplish anything.
