The billionaire Koch brothers have been spending hundreds of millions of dollars directly or indirectly through PACs to elect extreme right wing politicians across the country including our very own Steve Daines.

Assuming this is not charity, what is their agenda and what do they expect in return for their investments? In 1980 when David Koch was the vice presidential candidate on the Libertarian ticket, the party's platform included some of the following:

Abolish Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid and all tax supported health services.

Repeal of property taxes and personal and corporate income taxes and eventually all taxes.

Repeal of all minimum wage laws.

Abolish the U.S. Postal Service, Department of Energy, Department of Transportation, Consumer Product Safety Commission, OSHA, EPA, FDA and FAA

The privatization of all schools and colleges, all railroads and all inland waterways, including the water distribution systems for households, industry and agriculture.

The Koch's agenda is still the same and they are putting their money on their man in Montana: Steve Daines.
