Congratulations to the Billings Little League team on your amazing baseball season! You were so much fun to watch on your run in California and in Williamsport.

You were all a bright spot, taking our minds off day-to-day worries and concerns and giving us excitement and fun watching all of you play your hearts out. It brought back memories of being involved in baseball with our son and how much fun it was to watch and what great friendships were established. You have even brought about a reunion of the baseball team my son was on from all of them watching your games. They are all in their late 20s now, but they will gather at an upcoming Brewer's game this week!

A friend who moved from Helena 40 years ago called us to say she was watching and thrilled to be "connected" to Montana again. She lives in Madison, Wis.

We were so proud of what great sportsmanship you all demonstrated and how very composed you were throughout the games!

Your parents should all be congratulated, too, for raising such a great group of kids and for making so many sacrifices so you could all participate in such a great summer. Thank you, coaches, for instilling good sportsmanship and great attitudes in all of these young men!

Go Big Sky!
