This letter is for those making a living in the food service industry.

I am a bit insulted but not surprised at the latest bit of drivel to ooze out of the corner of G. Todd Baugh's mouth. When he said, "Get a real job" to the fast food worker, was he telling me that my first paying job was not real or worthy of respect? Is he telling me that a lifetime in the food service industry was all a dream? Sure was nice "livin' the dream." Is he telling me that all the whiny elitists I had to put up with weren't real. Wow, all that stress for nothing.

Were all the wonderful relationships I had with my crews and customers all a fantasy? Sure seemed real to me. It's people like Baugh, people who think they are better than others, that can make our job a nightmare. No, that young man has a real job and real problems. It is unfortunate for all that Baugh is a "real judge," for he has no "real compassion."
