Where is the justice? My husband's 25-year-old daughter, Jessica Lee French Stephenson, was killed on Dec. 21, 2013, by Richard Douglas Reinert. She was calling 911 to protect his wife from the drunken idiot who was threatening to harm her and shoot himself. Too bad he didn't.

He turned the gun on Jessi and shot her multiple times. The whole thing is on 911 recording. Guess that's not good enough. On Friday, June 6, he bonded out of jail on a mere $450,000. How is this justice? He has restrictions to stay in Montana, have a job, be in a nice, warm, cozy home by 10 p.m. every night and wear a monitoring device. Big deal!

What's a bail-jumping felony charge when he's already facing life in prison? Obviously his family in Tallahassee, Fla., has money to throw away, so no problem bonding out a killer.

Our hearts are broken, our lives are shattered. He and his family remain a family.
