I served in the Montana Senate with the two military war veterans running for Montana's House seat, Senate Majority Leader Corey Stapleton and Sen. Zinke.
During our time together, Zinke voted repeatedly with the Democrats to spend a half a million of your tax dollars for free contraceptives for Montana teenagers. In fact, he voted with the radical pro-abortion groups nearly all the time (57 percent). He voted in lock step with the big labor union bosses (90 percent) and he was a strong supporter of the radical environmental agenda (50 percent). Project Vote Smart reports he voted for the conservative position a dismal 11 percent of the time.
Stapleton, on the other hand, never wavered in our three sessions together. He voted pro-life, pro-family values 100 percent of the time. He voted against the big unions (77 percent) and against the radical environmentalists (80 percent). Further, for the six years I served with him, conservative Republicans proudly elected Stapleton to their leadership team.
Corey Stapleton is a clear choice with a conservative conscience. Let's send a proven leader to Washington to fight for the values we cherish. We'll be glad we did.
