As a disabled veteran, I would suggest the new VA national director institute a new policy for all veterans utilizing VA clinics. Within one year the veteran must be tobacco-free during his/her annual blood test. Tobacco has killed more soldiers, sailors, Marines and airmen than any foreign enemy. Tobacco use is “slow suicide.”
