Congressman Steve Daines said last Monday that "every American should be free to live and work in accordance with their religious beliefs."
That is one thing that Daines and I agree on.
Except, unfortunately, Daines and I have different definitions of what an "American" is. Daines seems to think that a corporation (for example, Hobby Lobby) is an American. The right to live and work in accordance with one's beliefs does not include the right to force others to abide by them.
Sen. John Walsh is a champion for women's health care. He believes employers should not be able to deny women basic health coverage for contraceptives, and that is why he has my support now and my vote in November.
