It is too bad that John Walsh spent himself living a lie. The very essence of an Army officer is honor. Walsh' service was less than honorable. The Department of the Army refused to promote him as the Montana adjutant general because he tried to influence his subordinates to do something that would benefit him — a dishonorable act. Then in the Army War College, he plagiarized other author's work and took credit for it to receive a master's degree and a diploma from the War College — another dishonorable act.
If Walsh had any honor, he would immediately resign from his appointed position. A man with no integrity does not deserve to be the state adjutant general, the lieutenant governor or one of our sitting senators. Shame on John Walsh.
