KALISPELL - Wildlife officials said a Columbia Falls man has been cited for killing two wolves during a closed season in northwestern Montana.
Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks wardens said the wolves were shot and left along Whale Creek Road in the North Fork Flathead drainage on Oct. 9. FWP did not identify the man but said he pleaded guilty in Flathead County Justice Court and paid a $1,135 fine.
Wardens also want information about a wolf that was shot to death and left in the Red Meadow drainage of the North Fork Flathead.
