GREAT FALLS - Police say a Great Falls woman has been charged with misdemeanor public nuisance and cited for more than 150 violations of the city animal ordinance after nearly 100 cats were found in her trailer house.

Fourty-two-year-old Sherry Lynn Bickel was cited for 50 counts each of failure to have current vaccinations, failure to have dog/cat registrations and failure to supply tags/collars. She also was cited for failing to have a multiple animal permit, failure to have a hobby breeder's license and a removal of excrement violation.

Bickel is scheduled to appear in municipal court on Wednesday.

Police seized 95 cats and two dogs from Bickel's house last week while executing a search warrant.
