The Northern Cheyenne Tribal Police and Bureau of Indian Affairs will be conducting driver safety spot checks through the summer.
Tribal police Sgt. Pernell Brown said the spot checks on the Northern Cheyenne Reservation will begin in conjunction with similar law enforcement efforts nationwide between May 18 and 31. The traffic checks will continue periodically throughout the summer and into September, Brown said.
