The identify of a man whose body was found Thursday near railroad tracks by Park City has been identified as Steven Richard Eckhart, 48, of Crow Agency.

Eckhart's family made the identification on Saturday, said Terry Nystul, deputy coroner for Stillwater County.

The Stillwater County Sheriff's Office sought help in confirming the man's identity after his body was found at just after 1 p.m. by the railroad tracks near the Stillwater County and Yellowstone County line. An autopsy was conducted Thursday night, but Nystul said Saturday that the cause of death has not yet been determined.

The investigation is continuing, he said.
