Ashland resident Kyle Lee Fulmer, 29, pleaded not guilty to involuntary manslaughter charges during an arraignment in U.S. District Court in Billings on Wednesday.
An indictment alleges Fulmer was driving drunk on Sept. 19 near Ashland when he caused the death of a person identified as C.R.R.
U.S. Magistrate Judge Carolyn Ostby continued Fulmer’s release. If convicted, he faces a maximum of eight years in prison and a possible $250,000 fine. The case will be heard by Chief U.S. District Judge Richard Cebull.
