EMIGRANT — Police are investigating the death of a 59-year-old Park County man whose body was found on a road south of Emigrant.

Park County Deputy Coroner Jacob DeVries said the man appears to have died of exposure overnight Monday after he wrecked his vehicle and walked about a mile and a half from the vehicle.

DeVries said a passer-by found the man’s body Tuesday morning.

Authorities have not released the man’s name.

The Park County Sheriff’s Office and the Montana Highway Patrol are investigating.
