MISSOULA — A Bozeman man who dropped a memory card containing images of child pornography during a job interview has been sentenced to just over four years in prison.

Seth Patrick Durnam was sentenced by U.S. District Judge Donald Molloy in Missoula on July 31. He pleaded guilty to possession of child pornography in April.

Assistant U.S. Attorney Tara Elliott said Durnam was at a Bozeman house for a job interview in November 2010 when he dropped a memory card in the driveway. The homeowner looked at the contents of the card to try to identify the owner and discovered images of naked, underage boys and an image of Durnam. He turned the card over to police.

Prosecutors say about 300 sexually explicit images and five movies of nude boys were found on the card.
