A Glendive man whose body police officers found in his home last December was stabbed to death.

A news release from Dawson County Attorney Olivia Rieger provided the cause of death for Matthew Wiseman, 25. It is the first new information released in the investigation into the Glendive man's death since it was first reported in late December.

"An ongoing investigation by state and local law enforcement has led to the determination that Matthew Wiseman of Glendive died of multiple stab wounds in his home," the release said.

On Dec. 21, officers from the Glendive Police Department responded to a call at Wiseman's trailer home, where they found his body.

Local and state authorities continue to investigate the death.

"Investigators from the Glendive Police Department, Dawson County Sheriff’s Office and the Montana Department of Justice’s Division of Criminal Investigation are continuing to examine evidence and explore leads in the homicide case," the release states. "No arrests have been made."

i doubt this will ever be solved, just like susan casey, my faith in the glendive force is really lacking, its sad to think this family has no answers, i mean it took this long to release the man was stabbed, if i were a member of the glendive community, instead of talking and making up your own accusations i would be demanding answers!

An arrest was made in the Susan Casey murder. Trial is set for March. Faith still lacking?

billmillerjr.. no one is trying to ban guns, you should read a little more or watch the news and if you need a clip that holds more than 10 rounds you should also take some target practice.

While translating William is a process all unto itself, I don’t think he mentioned weapons magazines any more than he mentioned “sporks”.

However since you did, how many criminal acts with firearms involve magazines of more than ten rounds? So besides what you are parroting from your liberal cartoon shows and coloring books, what good is another failed restriction?

--", how many criminal acts with firearms involve magazines of more than ten rounds?"----- How many mass killings in recent years have "involve magazines of more than ten rounds?"----How many victims? Why are those the tools of choice for killing the most the fastest?

Sorry to showcase your ignorance but I do not read "liberal cartoons" and I do believe in the 2nd amendment. However having a weapon that "sprays" bullets is not necessary. If you hunt or shoot for sport you do not need a military-style weapon. You need a few rounds and some skill. If you feel you need 20 rounds you may want to take a class on marksmanship.

it took from december to february to come to a conclusion that someone was stabbed? Seems like glendive needs a new police force and county coroner

How sad for the family that there will probably never be resolution and scary that there is some crazy running around.

I am one of the family members of Matthew Wiseman, even though it seems this will not be solved I do have faith, what we are going through as a family, having to be patient, not knowing and wondering every day has been unbearable, but I believe in my heart they will catch the people responsible and there will be justice, I pray every day somehow we will get closure.
