A Malta woman was killed in a single-vehicle rollover Friday morning on U.S. Highway 2 five miles east of Glasgow.
Montana Highway Patrol Trooper David Moon said Bonnie Bridle, 70, was pronounced dead at the scene at 11:40 a.m.
Moon said Bridle was driving a 1997 Ford Explorer eastbound when she, for unknown reasons, lost control of the vehicle. She overcorrected, sending the Explorer across the roadway and into the eastbound ditch.
Moon said the Explorer rolled several times before throwing Bridle from the vehicle.
She was not wearing a seat belt, Moon said.
