MISSOULA — A family of medical marijuana growers from Miles City has denied federal drug charges filed after their business was raided by federal agents last spring.
Richard Flor, 67, his 54-year-old wife, Sherry, and their son, Justin, were arraigned via video in U.S. District Court in Missoula on Wednesday.
The Flors are charged with growing marijuana in their home as well as in Helena and Three Forks, and conspiring to distribute it around the state. They also face money laundering, weapons and conspiracy charges.
Prosecutors allege Richard and Sherry Flor sold marijuana and a rifle to an undercover officer who also bought marijuana from Justin Flor.
The federal government is seeking forfeiture of 29 weapons seized during the raid, four vehicles and more than $1.7 million.
