GREAT FALLS — A 13-year-old Great Falls boy who was reported as a runaway in September has been found safe in Great Falls.

Cascade County Sheriff Bob Edwards said Daniel Christensen was found at a residence Tuesday evening. He was last seen on Sept. 17 by his father and stepmother.

A tip from an informant on Monday led law enforcement officers to search the residence of 25-year-old Jenna Renee Van Delden. Van Delden was expected to appear in court Wednesday on charges of custodial interference and endangering a child.

When Christensen went missing, the family received tips from several cities with reports of boys matching Christensen's description. Ken and Roz Newell once received a call from a blocked number in which an older man said: "Your son is dead."
