HELENA - Another wildfire has started near the Strawberry Mine in the Tobacco Root Mountains near Pony.

"We currently have firefighters en-route and on scene from Madison County and the Forest Service," said Leona Rodreick, public affairs officer for the Beaverhead-Deerlodge National Forest.

"We have been loaned one of the helicopters from the Antelope fire north of Whitehall. The fire is near Pony and structures are threatened. We do have a small fixed wing aircraft with an observer getting ready to fly over the fire to get a size up for us," Rodreick said.
