POLSON — A 10-year-old St. Ignatius boy once held on $500,000 bail on suspicion of violating his probation has admitted to doing so with two outbursts at school.

The boy pleaded guilty Thursday to two counts of disorderly conduct as part of a plea agreement that will dismiss the 2012 burglary charge that led to a deferred prosecution and probation.

District Judge Kim Christopher scheduled a July 25 hearing to sentence the boy, who will be 11 by then.

The boy's case made news in early May after Christopher ordered him held in a juvenile detention center on $500,000 bail until he completed a mental health evaluation that had been scheduled and missed three times. He was later released to a residential treatment center and then returned to his grandmother's custody.
