A Utah man this week denied federal charges that he possessed child pornography in Rockvale.

Christopher Ralph Marquis, 67, of St. George, Utah, pleaded not guilty on Thursday to a one-count indictment charging him with possession of child porn on computer equipment in Rockvale on Aug. 5.

U.S. Magistrate Judge Carolyn Ostby ordered Marquis to remain in custody. The case will be heard by U.S. District Judge Susan Watters. If convicted, Marquis faces a maximum of 20 years in prison and a $250,000 fine.
