A 19-year-old driver died late Wednesday when his truck rolled on top of him in a wreck north of Wolf Point, according to the Montana Highway Patrol.
The Wolf Point teen was traveling north in reverse on a county road when he attempted to make a "j-turn," a 180-degree turn made without stopping, the patrol said.
The 1990 Ford F-250 pickup left the road on the west side, ejecting the driver and rolling on top of him. He was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.
Three other passengers who were traveling in the pickup were wearing their seatbelts and were not ejected from the truck. They were uninjured in the wreck, which took place about nine miles north of Wolf Point.
The Montana Highway Patrol was called to the accident at about 10:45 p.m. and continues to investigate.
